This year's theme, "Taking Charge of Change" encourages submissions that focus on the theme of change in various contexts. These could include, but are not limited to:

NIDILRR's move to the Department of Health and Human Services.
Technological changes such as social media, big data, and cloud networking.
The effects of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
The effects of the Affordable Care Act on working age adults with disabilities.
Transitions into independent living and the effects of the Olmstead Act.
The transitions youth with disabilities make from school to work or higher education.
